iRobot Roomba 500 / 600 Series

Worth knowingiRobot sells two separate AeroVac dust bin products, each with its own official compatible-model list: "Replacement AeroVac Bin" (SKU 4359682) lists 671, 676, 677, 692, and 694; "Roomba 500 Series AeroVac Bin in White" (SKU 21633) states it's compatible with "Roomba 500 Series robots." Neither product page mentions the other bin or states any model is excluded — so a model in this family that isn't named on either bin's own page is shown as Unknown here rather than excluded; a manufacturer's compatible-model list confirms membership, it doesn't by itself rule out anything left off it. The FILTER is different: it does have a confirmed exact list for the 500 series (530, 531(01), 531(02), 533, 534, 536, 541, 545, 585, 595) plus a confirmed blanket statement covering "all Roomba 600 Series robots with an AeroVac Bin" — so most 600-series models show as compatible for the filter even where the bin is Unknown. See each model's own page for its corrected, per-part status. One confirmed exception: the Roomba 690 is explicitly excluded from the 600-series bin (SKU 4359682) by iRobot's own Australian storefront text ("excluding the Roomba 690 model") -- not just an absence from the list -- and iRobot sells 690 a separate dedicated bin instead (SKU 4536490, confirmed on the AU and UK storefronts). This is a specific, evidenced exception for this one model, not a reason to re-generalize the bin rule for the rest of the family.
