The cited Amazon/Walmart listings' sourceQuoteOrFact ("Groups this _N model with RV850/RV851WV for filter/brush/side-brush") only states a retailer grouping with the newer platform -- it does not state the original RV700 side brush fails to fit, or that the two are incompatible. Grouping with one product isn't exclusion of another. May still be incompatible in practice -- just not confirmed from this source.
